I think this relates to ppl who get a reputation of things like "slut" and they could have had the potential to be greater ("they hate it when shes beautiful") and they just want to start over coz what started out to b harmless has backfired on them and now no1 likes them/wants to b with them and its getting rele hard for them to live in tht society, this song is def about running away or starting over but also about how nomatter how many times or how hard she trys to start over she cant ("and every time she makes a friend the vicious cycle starts again") but i also think deep down the grl they're talking about is a strong person in herself ("she waves her middle finger high") that shows some self confidence even after having so many social problems that its forced her to run away....also "she thinks about herself and cares about nobody else" shows that shes trying to ignore what other ppl say but it still hurts and that might also be part of the reason why people are so mean and two-faced about her...idk but i can just really relate to this song... |

also on the suicide idea..."blank face little girl" could refer to being dead maybe??? also "drink down and your candles burn away" and "one drink and your candles burn away" could also be how shes killing herself and also the whole "kiss yourself goodbye" idea could mean that he's going to end it so she should kiss herself goodbye if she really is suicidal... and the whole "take you take me/ i cant go with you now" meaning he won't die with her...the whole suicide thing really makes a lot of sense |
