this is fantastic because i failed my second ochem test, found out about it today and have been listening to this song nonstop. makes me feel better to know that there are others who share my pain even though KoC didn't write the song about that. |

the fox became god? strange. it was so much more eerie with "fog" in the line.
to me this song seems like a political commentary (coldplaytv released a "dancing politicians" video to accompany this song) told from the point of view of a soldier. it goes back and forth between him before he left, asking a girl to tell him she loves him but she's silent; and him in battle. the line "from the windows they were watching / as we froze down below" is like the soldiers marching through a snowy street with people staring at them, not really understanding what they're fighting for. |
