It's such a gorgeous song. Every bit it it just... gives me chills. I sit here now, it's summer time and I just graduated. Things have died down a little and before the album came out I was just kind of like... What happened? You know? I've gone through years of being sad and wanting to die and doing all of that, so having one of my favorite bands... tell the story of growing; it's great. When I listen to this album, I feel free. I feel like if I closed my eyes I'd be somewhere else. I love this CD. Death and all His Friends is the perfect ending to the album. (And I personally adore the bonus track thing, along with the looping... it makes the album never seem to end... Keeping growing, keep getting better.) I wish... I wish everybody could feel like I do when I hear the CD, and mostly this song. It's like... I dunno. It's almost like it's happiness. |

Another win for Coldplay. xD I swear. 10/10 on this album. The weakest? I'm not sure,. I've only listened to the album a few times now (I finally got my hands on it yesterday. xD) and I think the weakest is Lost, but really, before long there won't be a weakest. Ha. Coldplay owns. Anyway. I do think it's about sex. It's about want and the feeling of a certain emptyness and frustration that occurs when you think someone doesn't love you enough, or doesn't want it when you do. I first listened to the song in the car on my way home and I must say, it was an extremely interesting idea, and an awesome song. xD Two thumbs up indeed. |

'How I wish I'd spoken up.' This song, this CD as a whole, is just so inspiration and makes me want to look towards the future and smile instead of dwell on the past and die. It's about life, it's about love, moving forward, forgetting the ugly things and sticking around with the things that keep you going. 'I have no doubt, one day the sun will come out' No matter what happens, the speaker stays hopeful. Coldplay hit a grand slam with the new album. They won. They get it. It's just, amazing me, really. xD I love this song, like every single song on the new album. |

I know what you mean, J.Diddy. It's such a happy song, but it's like... a tear jerker. Because of the happiness. :3 And if you don't see that know, just think about it. It's a common goal in every life. Happiness is something everybody wants but can't always seem to achieve. Sometimes that happinest somgs can make a person cry, maybe not always of happiness, maybe not always of sadness. that one depends on the person. Strawberry Swing, to me, reminds me of everysingle time I seem to take the moment of the day to breathe and look at the sky. It reminds of that touch of desire in me, that part of me that is indeed happy. This whole CD is like that almost, anyway. Some of it is just so happy and inspiration and hopeful it... makes you want to cry. xD |
