This song was written in Neal's transition time. and by that, I mean byebye Spock's Beard, hello Jesus! There are a number of intentional religious and spiritual overtones on Snow, that is a fact. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that this song is relating to Jesus being the Wind at all of our backs really, since it's always there. "Like a sky stretched out before me" has a clear overtone to how massive Jesus is and how far his love can stretch (even further really) "Can it be true that it all comes rushing from you" could possibly have major reference to the Lord providing us with EVERYTHING. |
