I don't know if what I'm saying makes any sense or if it bares any relevance to the Noel Gallagher idea, but anyway... I think Matt is criticizing Noel's theory by saying that if Rock music wasn't about anything important, what the fuck are the rock stars doing out there? "Deep Six/Come to bare, good night and take care/who knows, maybe our luck could change" This part makes me think that rock stars just come into the business thinking that they can make it big by becoming exposed, making money and then leaving. "People live in the rain" Most people end up getting bored with life, but who knows...maybe our luck could change. "I don't know where you think you are" You think this is some kind of game you're playing? "Big crash, funny car, is where you've been, where you are/Think fast, and kill what you cannot change" You've messed up and have become the laughing stock, so now is your time to fight back at the people to get back into the spotlight. "Still though, this is fun/ find a box when I'm done/ who knows, maybe my luck could change" You fell ass-backwards into a pit of money and now it's time to walk away with it. |

| I'm no expert, but I believe that this is a song about Matt Good's case of bipolar disorder. | |
