yeah it's about partying all the time but in the second chorus it shows doubts about that sort of lifestyle and if you can keep it up. a lot of people i know who live like that seem sad and empty, maybe a result of partying like it's 1999.
Anyone noticed this is a parody of Prince's 1999? Maybe that's why the title is The year... rather than 1999? |
