What's so sad about this song is his daughter got brainwashed by her idiot mom and said this is the only good song her dad ever wrote... Really? Man that's terrible just awful to be like that sure they say (if true) suicide effects everyone around you in your life not just you. But kurts legacy is a great one and for his flesh and blood to hate him that much is sad, it's more anger than anything. I still think he was killed by a professional. Anyways just my thought, I still love nirvana to this day, and I hate Courtney love. What else is funny is how the montage of heck came out and it was her side of things and his families. The. Soaked in bleach emerges and love hires all kinds of lawyers to ban it and stuff but they failed that documentary was eye opening I recommend everyone see both but in the opposite order watch soaked in bleach then montage of heck. I like this song but I'm not sure the lyric Orpheus I'm more inclined to think its opiates since the song is called sweet morphine which is an opiate. |

To me it felt like he was talking about leaving his old town because he just couldn't stand it. Lots of people get like that sure it's your roots but sometimes to thrive you need to move on. I have a deep connection with this song. being stuck where I am I'm sick of bumping into old flames and people I knew. A change of scenery and a fresh start are a must and from that song I felt that way! Btw still love all gaslights albums it all has wondrous meaning and to me like a good book I start to relate and ponder life events. :-p |
