the proper hindu way to spell krishna is krsna.i totaly agree with Gaura. Krsna is god but there are 3 incarnations of Sri Krsna. Govinda Krsna, Caityana Krsna,and finaly Hare Krsna. its somewhat like like the bible the lord or jesus / krsna, came to earth through govidna, caityana, and hare to spread faith. like jesus hare was killed but accidentaly. he was meditating in the forest when a hunter mistaked him for a deer shoot and killed hare but Sri krsna the just went to his proper place in the other world.
