I believe the song is about the story of Moses. "Mother was a Queen" - Moses was adopted by the Queen of Egypt, and raised as her own. "Dad I've never seen" - Again, didn't know his father, because he was adopted. "I was never meant to be" - At the time of Moses, all new-born boys were murdered because of a prophecy or something, and he was spared because he was hidden from the Egyptians and raised by the Royal family. The rest of the first verse goes on about how he wandered around Egypt before being called by God to do his bidding. I could be wrong, but it makes sense in my mind. |

Proctor, your knowledge of history is embarrassingly humerous. Hitler was a corporal in the army during WW2. He was a soldier, and quite often a messenger on the frontlines. He wasn't in charge of Germany until 1933, when he was voted into power as Chancellor. True, the German army used Mustard Gas in the Trenches, but it sure as hell wasn't Hitler who ordered their use. |
