Ok, third message, but hey. I love this song. I never thought this song was about an athleit. it's about a boy who fancies another boy. I never thought the narrator was confused about his sexuality, he doesen't seem confused, it sounds like he knows he's gay, but is peticulary obsessed with this one boy, who is defiantely straight. He knows he's straight, but he wants him to lead him on anyway and pretend this girl doesen't mean anything to him. It sounds like he sometimes follows him. And none of this makes the writer gay or stalkerish. You could as easily say he killed a girl called Jenny and the song was his confession. |

It's called I've been eating (for you). At least, that's what mine is called. I love this song. It's amazing how it's all quiet and the guitar only really kicks in after the songs over. To me, this song is about a guy who keeps being used by a girl who's a bit of a slut. Basically, she gets used by boys, so she goes to him and he makes her happy, but when she feels ok she leaves him and goes back to being slutty. I do think this song is about a Eating Disorder, or some kind of disorder. I love how he hesitates before saying the final line. ^^ |

This song might sound like it's about a sex toy, and on some leval maybe it is, but it is much deeper then that. I think it's just about a woman who never quite knows how to fall in love, even though she wants to. She's saying she wishes someone would keep trying long enough so that it might work out for her, but she knows it won't happen. She wants a coin operated boy, but what she really wants is someone to "extract me from my plastic fantasy". In my mind the plastic fantasy IS the coin operated boy. 'tis my favourite song ^^ |

I'm not sure if the woman dreaming actually has cancer or not, but the whole chemo limo thing is a dream. I always thought the woman could actually afford the chemo, she was just to scared to do it, and the doctor tries to make her feel better about it by telling her she won't die, even though she will. However, the whole money thing makes sense. The way she sings about the children is amazing. |
