I saw Skillet last week. John told us that he absolutly loves rock ballads and stuff like that, and guys would sometimes ask him why or think it was really weird. He told us, "They just don't get it. This song isn't for them. It's for the girls!" haha. This is an absolutly beautiful song, and truly powerful. I love it. |

| I've seen this song performed live twice. John has said each time that the song is about his relationship with his father. Growing up, he didn't get along with his dad. It wasn't until after he had kids that he began to feel like it needed to change. He wnated his kids to have a grandfather. This song is about that. | |
