i think it's about a guy and a girl who broke up for some reason. but he wants to change (open my chest, fix whatever you need to be fixed) so that they can be together again because he still loves her. i think it being called payback has to do with him not telling her how he feels, at least that's what it sounds like from the first part of the chorus. anyone agree? |

i think i understand what it's about... i think it isn't about one specific girl or person. he's just explaining situations where people need someone to be there for them. such as a woman who had children and then their father left of a homeless man on the street. he says he'll be there for them. |

i think the general idea is that he loves a girl who cheated on him or something. what's it like to die alone? - referring to himself, as in he has no one. the blood in your veins is twenty below - she's a cold, heartless person russian roulette - he's thinking about suicide finger on the trigger to my dear juliet - i think that's he has his finger on the trigger (due) to his deal juliet, as in she caused it. then he talks about going to her house and crashing into it in his car, making sure she's alive (because he still loves her) but killing her because of what she's done. just my thoughts :] |
