i'm thinking that even though these songs aren't specifically about jonny. they are about people like jonny, you know the whole partying and hooking up is the the only thing in life that matters people. zach is one hundred percent correct the other night i saw emarosa and jonny the second he got there was taking shots at the bar and continued to do that the whole night. i remember seeing dance gavin dance on valentines day and being able to talk to all the members including zack and everyone was really nice and friendly but jonny ignored people who came up to him. then when emarosa came on i talked to him for a little bit during the mic check and all he did was say that he is "always ready for a show" and also said "fuck doing vocal scales i don't need them i gave that up four years ago". after that he unplugged the monitors facing that band and threw them on the ground, bitched that he couldn't hear himself, and unplugged his mic and thew it on the ground after four songs
after all that i totally understand why dance gavin dance did what they did. his voice is really good but it's not worth that much hassle. plus kurt is phenomenal. his voice has changed so much since five minute ride and it's great. emarosa is mediocre music with so so singing. dance gavin dance wins hands down even though it really not a competition. i can't wait to see dgd august 3rd 4th and 5th itll be great |
