| I saw PJ in Boston in 2006 and Eddie said that he wrote this song about a soldier going off to war. The soldier may not have agreed with the war but he would go with his hands tied and try to make it home safe. I was floored because he normally doesn't get up and say what his songs are about. But, he had been taking heat for protesting the war and wanted to let everyone know that he admired the bravery of the troops that went to war. | |
