the silver pink poney, i think i read somewhere that that is a friend of hers. as in, an actual person. as in, this whole story is true. kimya was at thtat point people get to sometimes, but her friend came and told her that she was important and did deserve the finer things in life. thats what i think, i also think this is one of my favorite songs because i have had the worst hang over before and been like "hey, lets go get some mad dog 20/20" like it was nothing and then been like "im not an alchoholic, im just bad ass like that". i was a very distructive child. |

to me, its about a broken family. the sister talkin to the brother, come see your brother!! ((the returning brother)) like the father is gone, and then the family sold off the youngest brother and now he has returned. "he has enough money to buy a new father....to bother soembody else" .... he is successful and he has come back to see his broken family, to "solder two wires together", to put him and his siblings back together. and the part about the mouthful, sibling do dumb things like that and teh sister is just saying "oh, he will never forgive you" and "they ran througha s toplight"...hum...scarcrow is suppose to frighten off the crows and fungus is a thing that devours. so...is that the siblings? and older sibling that was suppose to keep the youngest brother safe and another sibling that just sapped allthe good from him while he was there. they ran through a stoplight, or just ran away. but it didnt mattter, cause no one was hurt by their departure. who would care about such people leaving? but in the end, the brother came back to fix his family when he could have just as easily ran off to be with "somebody else", but the good for nothing silings ran away for some reason. propably in shame of what they had done, and regina was just reinerating that in the last stanza he had two choices, "somebody else" or "a new father" solder two wires together...... |

i think its possible thats it not something beautiful that they are being remembered for, but regina is saying its beautiful to her and the one shes with. like, they where killed for soemthing they did and then a status was made, and it may not have even been to honor them. |
