I think it's like that hard decision to make when you kinda think you might be in love with someone but aren't sure. On one hand, you want to pursue that person but at the end of the day, you could easily go down the same path with someone else. It's like a question if people really are worth the pain and games they put you through and sometimes it is, but sometimes its not. |

Germany and Japan are metaphors for how mean a person can be, and the ability to blindsid someone you love with pent-up anger. You COULD be just as nasty and engage in the fight, but relationships and the problems they cause are an issue that both people involved need to work out, together. And you want the person to know its ok to get mad sometimes, but you can't just give up and leave. Like when a girl gets mad about something and you know its not really about that particular thing, but it becomes a metaphor for other issues. |

It's coming to the realization that you can't blindly agree with someone because of your love for them. You try to see their point-of-view and want to agree, but around your friends you are different. But you think "maybe, over time, this person will change." It's almost like meeting someone and having to sit through superficial conversations because you THINK they are pretty cool, and finding out that they really are THAT shallow and have nothing else to offer. Which makes you wrong for thinking that person could change for the better, because they were that shallow from the beginning and you were the one who changed. It sucks to be wrong about someone you really want to like, and usually it takes a while before you have to write-them-off. |

It's about a male from a lower-class trying to relate to a high-class girl and how she sees her views as an absolute reality when really most of her education, and stereotypes don't matter at all. I think he's saying its ok to be upperclass, but her priorities arent the same as everyone elses and she isnt without her own downfalls. Some people go out to clubs and listen to Get Low, while some people stay at home and point out trivial grammatical errors. We're all the same. |
