this song is about being a hipster, getting drunk off of 4 full cans of pabst blue ribbon to impress a girl wearing bright purple suspenders. you have her jump on the handle bars of your fixie and take her back to your sweet studio apartment in SoHo but you remember your roommate who goes to NYU is busy doing some killer pastels all night long and can't interrupt his art. So you bring her up to the rooftop where you look up to the sky to see the stars but remember you cant see the stars because of the background light so instead you awkwardly make advances to her complimenting her on her uniqueness but tragedy strikes when she keels over and throws up (she did drink 3 pabst an hour ago after all) on your new jack purcells that you just bought off of your iPad. You're now crying and shes crying to console you and your mascara runs down your face, and you don't know how you will be able to get 50 bucks because you only make 50 bucks a day at starbucks. damn, being a hipster sucks |
