Even though the courtney love comment made me laugh, i once again must say how i see no connection between pom and the great nirvana. puddle of mudd is quite the spiffy new band and their sound is polished, no arguing with that. when i got their new album, in hopes that it might be comparable to their earlier sound, with their booming single famous that was quite in heavy rotation over here, i was quite disappointed to find that the cd was taken up mainly by ballads and love songs. I challenge you to find a slow nirvana song that has been watered down for radio. No my friend, you will find that nirvana was the real deal, and was actually quite overwhelmed by the sudden fame the nevermind album broght them. no, nirvana was in it for the music and puddle of mudd seems to now be in it for the airplay. i'm not saying this is a bad thing, puddle of mudd is good, just that they should not be compared to nirvana. |

this is a bloody good song, with quite a simple meaning, but i'm not quite sure where people get off saying that pom sounds like nirvana. many of my friends say it and i love nirvana, they're the best american band beside rise against, and puddle of mudd is quite dandy themselves, but really, they don't compare to nirvana in any way. |

I do believe that this song is actually titled Injection, as the lyrics are the same and on the album I got, it was called Injection. Great song, I think that lyrics might be a tad bit off on here though. Oh well... as it is. |
