I had this song played at my mums funeral after she died of cancer. I wanted it to be a celebration of her life and reflect how she always looked on the bright side despite her illness. Half the family were laughing uncontrollably, the other half were furious saying it was inappropiate and in the middle of it my stepsister was having a hysterical nervous breakdown. God knows what the undertakers thought but some people said it was the best funeral they had ever been to. |
