I don't think this song is about "two" people. I think this song is about internal conflict. "Cause every once in a while You think about if your gonna get yourself together You should be happy just to be alive And just because you just don't feel like comin' home Don't mean that you'll never arrive" Its more like he's singing this song into a mirror. Something hurt him and he's trying to convince himself to "move on" and get over it so he can face himself enjoy, his life and go home. He wants feel something other than what he's feeling now. |
