i think this song is about a relationship ending, and one of them moving, and not willing to handle a long distance relationship, which is what the point of view character wants. and they realize that after this decision is made, theyre better that theyre done, and that she deserves more. and she wants to keep in touch, but basically say, im fine without you. basically to stick it to him. "ill write you just to let you know that im alright" and she realizes she deserves better "cant say im sad to see you go, cause im not" |

i talked to they guys today at their video shoot. and they said the video was about a kid running from demons, through a city. they said they were aiming for an older look to the city, so you may be right ethos27. so im guessing its about someone running from 'demons' as being the sins of life |
