this song is about how he loves what he does but cant stand it at the same time. he loves it for the actual music, but hates the industry. he then, of course, starts to lose faith a little (the guitar's exploding to a drum beat thats driving. its pretty fucking boring, oh don't you think?) but he, at the same time, could never completely lose hope in it. its an amazing song, because it not only describes the music industry perfectly but also many other things. it can relate to anyone. |

| at first when i heard this song, i admit, it made me happy. but the second time through i started to realize what he was saying, and assumed it was nothing more than sarcasm. but i now agree with raddimus. i think it is about the struggles that everyone in the world faces; seeing only the hatred and the darkness, seeing only the fake joy, or somehow seeing both at the same time, getting the best from both worlds. an amazing song by an amazing band. | |
