Against Me! – I Still Love You Julie (Hanging on for a Scam) Lyrics 17 years ago
I love the Crime album but hate all of the last few albums by these guys. Especially love this song and Walking. But I agree with Inferno, but this song kind of foreshadows Against Mes future. Their new pop music and being advertised by MTV all really sucks. "maybe somehow this scam will save us all" maybe we will get rich off of this scam? looks like it worked.

Clap Your Hands Say Yeah – Upon This Tidal Wave of Young Blood Lyrics 17 years ago
Ya I agree that it is about Iraq and sending our children to war while we stay here and be healthy. Just a thought maybe the part about nothing left to fear now that big foot is captured is about capturing saddam hussein. just a thought.

Chin Up Chin Up – We've Got to Keep Running Lyrics 17 years ago
I'm not exactly sure what this one is all about but I don't agree with ziffon. it's more along the lines of he doesn't like where he's going in life.

Chin Up Chin Up – Stolen Mountains Lyrics 17 years ago
i think this song laments the loss of nature and how everyone spends their time in front of computer screens instead of out in the mountains and such. and how buildings have taken the place of what once was forests. also people are chained to tall buildings and spend their lives there instead of out enjoying life.

Chin Up Chin Up – Why is my sleeping bag a ghetto muppet? Lyrics 17 years ago
I think it's about the divide between the rich and the poor (or homeless). the rich walk on treadmills while the poor walk to stay alive. "our mouths are bigger than our feet" Our hunger exceeds our ability to get food. "theres no sympathy in a blowout" In the race or game of life, it's a blowout in terms of the poor vs. the rich. "you can go home, but i can't go home" You have a home and I don't. And I think the name of the songs is about a homeless person who sleeps in a "ghetto muppet" or some kind of makeshift bed. just what i've always thought.

Chin Up Chin Up – Collide the Tide Lyrics 17 years ago
Ya this is one of my favorite songs by these guys. Theres some lyrics missing there towards the end. I like the line "girl, there's a fault line between us and it's all that keeps us stationary". Makes sense to me but I can't explain it.
