| The National – Slow Show Lyrics | 13 years ago |
|
This is the most romantic song I've ever heard. "You know I dreamed about you for 29 years/I missed you for 29 years", to me, is a poetic, intense confession of love to someone who is all he's ever dreamed of. It's the most powerful part of the song for me. The song as a whole suggests him stuck alone at something social, desperately wishing he wasn't there and instead home with whoever it is he loves. "Put on a slow, dumb show for you" is the uplifting of time spent together doing arguably silly things, which I feel is where much of love is built. |

| Sex Bob-Omb – Threshold Lyrics | 15 years ago |

I think these are the correct lyrics: WE ARE SEX BOB-OMB AND WE'RE HERE TO MAKE YOU THINK ABOUT DEATH AND GET SAD AND STUFF (this is the beginning of the song) I'm hearing voices, animal noises The creme de la creme, the feminine abyss N' I'm reaching my threshold Staring at the truth til I'm blind My body's stupid, stereo putrid Spilling out music into raw sewage Reaching my threshold Staring at the truth til I'm blind My threshold My threshold Reaching my threshold I'm hearing voices, animal noises The creme de la creme, the feminine abyss 'N I'm reachin' my threshold Staring at the truth til I'm blind My threshold I'll explode Reaching my threshold Threshold My threshold My threshold |
