so a song about rock star life, sex, alcohol, drugs, music and the occasional stress, but it sorta seems to suggest that it's taken every aspect of their life, and everything has become a daze. |

I agree with the above, so many times we waste our life being cynical and wondering what's the point, even if we could finally get ahead, we're just going to die afterwards, then the chorus is criticizing and saying that we're just wasting our time wondering "why" when we could be out doing something better, but instead we just wait for it to come to us many times. |
