every time I listen to this I hear "you popped my heart seams, ALL my bubble dreams" not on. and whenever she sings it live she clearly says "is your drunk line just a joke?" I know on TFM it's punch line, but in an interview I heard her talking about her dad calling her after he'd have a few drinks and she "couldn't believe what he'd said" to her on the phone. the things he said would leave her speechless bc she didn't know what to say so that makes "is your drunk line just a joke?" make even more sense than punch line. he was drunk so he didn't take seriously the things he was saying, whereas it made her really emotional...and concerned, I assume. |

first vertigo/disco stick=dick, now bad girl meat=vag! I absolutely love this song!! the second time I listened to it, I only listened to her talking in the background. gaga sings this to her lovers when she wants them to go down on her, that's what I walked away with. filthy, filthy gaga;) I'm surprised I haven't already read it on here, but I like my interpretation. this song doesn't take much thought and that's what I love about all of her sexual songs and creative terminology:) gaga, I'll follow you until you love me. |

what a waste of taylor's talent to write a song about joe. she didn't need to say it aloud. that kinda ruins it since now all I'll be thinking about is him breaking up with her "on the phone in 27 seconds". on ellen she said that had to be a record. not true. some guys TEXT break up. pssshh. joe is quite the classy gentleman isn't he? maybe girls will think twice about dating him. but seriously? nick is not only way cuter, but also younger and tasteful enough to break up in person. I guess she was serious when she said she writes songs about ALL guys she's in contact with. ugh. I would like this song more if it weren't associated with a specific someone that I hear about all the time anyways. |

I'm with shassouneh. in the "live from charleston" version, darius adds in all these words in the beginning... "with a little love, and some tenderness, we'll walk above the water, we gotta rise above all this racist bullshit mess. we need peace yall. we need harmony. we'll take the world together, grab em by the hand and say that I've gotta hand for you and I wanna run with you." the best is when he says "see I was wasted, imagine that?! and I was a wastin time." hahaha. the crowd went nuts. their live album is SO great! |
