As far as I'm aware the album was written after the death of Simon's mother. A lot of songs reflect how he's feeling, and I think this song is a beautiful way to end the album. | This song introduced me to Biffy and wow..what an epic song it is. Still one of my favorites after listening to the other albums. I think The Vertigo of Bliss and Infinity Land are better than Puzzle, but that doesn't mean Puzzle is a bad album. Im struggling to find a song they've done that i don't like. | |

I cant believe no-one has commented on this song! Its pretty much on loop in my car :) As to the meaning im not sure. Perhaps its from the perspective of someone who is in a relationship but is falling out of love. Every time they think of their partner 'everything is great' but when they are actually with them all they want is 'some action' The line 'It's just the way I'm feeling now, In time' maybe the person trying to justify being with that person, and they think they're going through a stage? |
