This song is about Charlestown, Indiana. Travis grew up there in the projects. The picture on the back cover of DOTN's debut album is of what we called the Sweet Shop., which was a local corner grocery/hangout in the projects. |

I'm pretty sure Travis was thinking of his daughter when he wrote this song. Travis was extremely young when he had a little girl. Not sure what his relationship has been with his daughter due to her mother and him not getting along. |
