iv loved this band for a long time and i really like this song alot but what i can't stand is how a million people are all claiming to be huge fans of Flyleaf but all they've heard is one or two songs on MTV(which i hate) it just really bugs me how some people only like whats popular. |

| The Beatles – Eleanor Rigby Lyrics

this is my 2nd favorite Beatles song. i absolutely love everything about it the lyrics, music, message, etc... The line "wearing a face that she keeps in a jar by the door" to me means that Elinor doesn't let people see who she really is and that nobody see's the her thats behind the (symbolic) closed door. could this be why she's lonely? I also really like the lines "All the lonely people, where do they all come from? All the lonely people, where do they all belong?" no one ever really thinks about how many lonely people there are and how very few people in this world actually have a place to "belong". the story of Eleanor is one thats very depressing and unfortunantely very common. she spends all of her time watching and helping others be happy thinking her turn will come but it never does. |

even though i hate rap i absolutely love this song and i can really relate to it. even though my dad was very abusive towards my mom and when they divorced i rarely saw him i always knew i was his princess and i knew that as long as daddy was alive nothing was gonna harm me. i know what its like to live in a neighborhood where every other house is getting robbed and i really admire Eminem for getting himself and his daughter out of that situation but still being able to admit he has problems and being willing to work on them (like my dad) perhaps what i love most about Eminem though is how seemingly effortless he can tell the story of millions of people and how easy it is to relate |

very few people have heard of this band which is definantely a shame. anytime i just need to calm down i play this album and the second i hear this song i just relax. i KNOW this song is about his misdiagnosis with a virus but when i hear it what i interprete from it is that he's facing death and wishes that he didn't have to go and also he's wishing that he had done more thngs right in their relationship. i think that as he's looking at the stars he's contemplating what comes next. i mean when you look at a beautiful night sky it's hard not too especially when your facing death. i heard this song after finding out about my moms ovarian cancer(she's okay now) and it just made me bawl like a baby. |

i saw this band live and thought they were great! the song is really straightforward so there's not much more for me to add except to say that i too really like the line "fate can only take you so far" definantely makes you sit and think about what opportunities you might be missing. oh and i like MutedTeal's idea for a shirt :-D |

Iv loved this band since their very first album and this is definantely one of my favorite songs by them. to me this song is about how he was told how he could make it to heaven but in order to do so he has to face the consequences of his actions "lie in the bed that you make" and he's running from those consequences |

the first time i heard this song i thought it was stupid and repetative (i wasnt really listening) but as i heard it again i cant help but think of it as an AMAZING song. I think it's talking about how excessive pride in little things can cause a desire to do great things (ex. vaccines) but that if power and pride are left unchecked they can lead to horrific acts. so basically Beware of Pride |
