| Brian Eno – Bone Bomb Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| All of a sudden the ending of the song makes alot of sense. Excellent last track. | |
| Sabaton – Wehrmacht Lyrics | 13 years ago |
|
"Were they the victims of the time Or proud parts of lager goals? Propaganda of the Reich masterful machine" Well, both. It's not like all soldiers in the Wehrmacht were nazis. If you didn't want to join the army you couldn't just say "no". If you disobeyed orders you'd get a bullet in the head. |

| Sabaton – 1648 Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| This song is obviously about the Battle of Prague in 1648 and the crimes against humanity that the Swedish troops were guilty of by sacking, or at least trying to sack the city of Prague. | |
| Sabaton – A Lifetime of War Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| I think it's great to have a song that covers the negative subjects of wars and battles instead of always romanticising these themes which I find more common on the metal genre. | |
| Amon Amarth – Victorious March Lyrics | 13 years ago |
|
Directed at everyone who romanticize lyrics like this and refrain from really giving it some thought. Replace "warriors" with "mujahedeen" and "gods" with "god" and the lyrics suddenly doesn't sound so cool any longer, right? Still an awesome song, just interpret it with some common sense. |

| Raised Fist – Bleed Under My Pen Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| Not sure it's about globalisation per se. I think it's related to the invasion of Iraq and the kind of rethorics from a very special president that preceeded the event. | |
| The Magnetic Fields – Zombie Boy Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| As someone who is into death metal. This is the first song I've ever noticed bringing this subject up. :) | |
| Katatonia – We Must Bury You Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| I think the lyrics is about things that may happen when "group thinking" takes over. Suddenly you are in the hands of a group and you don't stand up for your ideals because you are afraid what the group would say/do and/or think about it. | |
| Dethklok – Detharmonic Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Indeed it's bm parody, I'm really thinking Dimmu Borgir here. :) The first two lines and the orchestrated intro really gives it away. Great song. | |
| Dethklok – The Lost Vikings Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I agree, Amon Amarth was the first thing I thought when I read the lyrics. :)) I really like both this song and Amon Amarth. My favourite part is: Hungry and tired the frigid plain yeilds little We trudge on further, eating pride and snow that's brittle :)) |

| Katatonia – One Year From Now Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
This song could be about a couple awaiting a child. The father (or mother for that matter) to become contemplates how life will turn. Having a child is of course one of the greater things that can happen to a couple, however sometimes things doesn't turn out as expected. If this is the words of a man, a little spin on my theory could be that it's unsure who the father to the child is. Hence the "dare I call you mine". It all could be directed to the child. |
