all you guys need to shut the fuck up. seriously, fucken crybabies. The people in here that actually discuss the meaning of this song and what it means to them, I dont mind. But all the other no life losers, get lost. Now, what this song means to me. I get the feel that ringo has a girlfriend and pretty much she isnt coming around anymore. He's simply asking "Does it mean you dont love me anymore?" Then the chorus explains why he dosnt want her to leave. great song overall. While My Guitar Gently Weeps is a boring ass song. I love george's song writing and all, but that is just a boring song that pretty much goes nowhere. This is very good and catchy song. Much better than most of the songs on the white album. But they're also much better songs on the white album than this one. This is all a matter of opinion, not fact. So don't waste your time trying to talk shit on my opinions. |

this is sucha great cover. I found out that lennon covered this song and I was not expecting this to be super great or anything like that. But I must say that when I heard this song I absoultley fell in love with it. I especially like the vocals the most. His vocals on this track are so haunting and and hypnotic, once you hear it you'll know what I mean. But nonetheless, this is a great lennon cover. And as far as the meaning of this song goes, I'd say that it's just a classic love song. I'm sure Lennon wanted to cover this song not only because it's one of his favorite songs ever, but also because he was probably feeling the same way towards Yoko. 10/10 |

| I like the acoustic version and the "beatles" version. I wasnt too big of a fan of the piano version. But my favorite one is probably the acoustic version. Very raw and real. Plus it was a good opener for the Imagine movie. | |

| I really hate across the universe. I did not like any of the songs they sang in their. I love the original beatles songs that got played in the movie, but the cast killed it. I know most of you will say "have an open mind" and stuff like that, and I did beforehand. I actually did enjoy this song off the movie, and that's really it. | the only thing I don't like about this song is the lack of how many time they use the chorus. It's such a catchy chorus, and they only sing it, what? 4 times? (I actually forgot). I just wish they would've used it a bit more. As many times as I heard this song, I always expect more chrous. But I guess this is just one of thoes "short but sweet" songs from the beatles. First off I wanna say that I absoultley love this song. One thing that I have come to realize about any (and every) john lennon or beatles love song is that you can really like a certaint love song and it'll be just another good love song to you. But if your'e actually in love and hear their songs, it hits you so much harder and has more meaning to you. that's how I was with this song. I always liked it, but when I got into this serious relationship that im in, I heard it and now I have to listen to it at lease once a day. His lyrics are so romantic. They make you feel feelings that you've had, but never realized untill hearing him sing it. For me it was "But when I see you darling It's like we both are falling in love again" That lyric is so strong. and if your'e truly in love with someone (like I am) then you know how much it can get to you. Overall this song is john writing out his love for yoko. when he says "Everyday we used to make it love, Why can't we be making love nice and easy" I always saw that as like their relationship was on the verge of going really bad, and he's just saying (in other words) we used to have it so good. what happend? Let's bring back thoes good times. And the overall message in this song (as it is in many other lennon songs) is that he loves Yoko, and she means the whole wide world to him. That message itself make me love this song so much. But I also relate to these lyrics a lot, and that also makes me like it even more. and that's why this song will be my wedding song. p.s. the bass line in this song is really catchy andfun to play. |
