my opinion this song is a about a guy who breaks up with this girl, that didnt really liked him the way he did with her, then she realizes that thats the guy she wanted for real, but there was nothing she could do, his heart was already broken. So he goes to talk to her again and someone gives him the advice like " get over it, she doesnt love yu like yu do".But he would never forget her, and she try to make the reverse (try to forget him and that she broke up with the guy she wants now) to keep her safe from herself,like blaming herself or even hurting herself? and then in the end i can imagine the girl saying that she will never be that person again, and they will be happy or the guy saying that like he was the reason they broke up before.. |

one of my favorite s strokes song. its obvious he changes his mind all the time. i think it sometimes is between his pride and his feelings. "like storefronts rarely change at least im own my own again instead of anywhere with yu. o to me is all the same" thats shows his pride like he is saying i am better by myself... but then he says its ok with her too. and this line "Let's see what is for sale He's trying hard to give his job a chance It's never gonna be It's sad, but I agree The signals don't seem right It lasts for just one night, and then I'm sorry that I said That we were just good friends" he watches her and this guy hoping that it will not work out.he is being sarcastic "its sad but i agree" and then when he see that it didnt work out he regret saying that they were just good friends. |

for me this song is really easy to understand cuz of the final line "yu trained me not to love after yu taught me what love was" like many song that i can interpretate oh the strokes of relationship. how people just are selfish and just think about their interest. the uncle thing i think is just a example" my uncle would say things would change once he dead" like is an example the his uncle cares about his interests before someone life. same in the beggining "they say thats ok long as we can celebrate" people will do whatever they can to get what they want. the only line i get confused is "never was on time yes, i once was mine"but i see it as he learned the lesson to just care about himself just respecing his own time. why i think he learned the lesson? because someone trained him not to love after she taught him what that was. lol and that must be hard to learn but once learned.impossible to forget |

this song is about him as a teenager who is confused about love. And thinking about what what is the best for him. 1 paragraph- would he give up of love for the pursue of money(like doing some job yu dont love for the benefits of money) 2 paragraph- he starts sure of his position of denying love and he loves the pain cuz this is going to cause hate. and hate is good cuz of its stability instead of love and his ups and downs. "like the one who just passed in a crowd of all the people"-while all are trying to achieve love in life and pursuing it , he is giving up of love "i love the way yu love but i hate the way im supposed to love yu back"-people just love each other to have back the love they invested.not even love is free. "It's just a fad Part of the teenage angst brigade and I'm not, not sure" he admmits that maybe its just a fad of his teenage age, and he is just dicovering it now and maybe being silly of this position "remember today i have no respect for yu and i miss yu love" he took a decision of not loving again(like many people do) but he misses it. MY OPINION: PEOPLE CANT BE TOO RATIONAL ABOUT LOVE, JUST LIVE MAYVE TO BE HURT AND AVOIDING TO HURT OTHER ONES. |

fucking briliant song. there`s no right answer to say what some lyric is about. but i think the closest meaning i can get of this song is the theory of being a child again or a animal(when everything yu do is right) 1 paragraph- if i had lose a mile(all the life he has been through, the knowledge he acquire) if i had to touch feeling(touch the intangible) i would lose my soul the way i do(he loses his soul while he`s growing up. getting away from all the innocence of childhood) 2-paragraph- (the results are always perfect cuz he`s being a child or an animal again.moved by insticts.) 3-paragraph- (his voice is more emotional now that he has already invented a child inside him) 4-paragraph-i cant see the end of me(childs can see the end ,remeber "neverland" lol) my whole expanse i cannot see(child also never think they gonna die) i formulate infinity and stored deep inside me(he is free as a child or animal, everything he does is perfect, he is fucking free!!!) thats my theory.(sorry for the bad english) |
