Piggy in the Lord of the Flies is the voice of reason, the guiding of society. Once they escape from Piggy's logic, representing society's rules, ideals, "God's Will," etc., nothing can stop them. Society rules, as many including Friedrich Nietzche (who is referenced throughout the album) have argued, limit the growth and evolution of humanity and the individual. Once he overcomes the barrier, and "loses it" according to society, he is free to be his primitive, true self. |

I hope you're joking.
"it's hard to take you serious when you take me inside."
"it doesn't matter if you're going to come"

| Marilyn Manson – We're From America Lyrics

"where they let you carve on faces"
Not sure that's the right lyrics there... I think it's a little worse than that. Take another listen.
I was hoping this would be the lightest song I would hear on the album, especially after all of the super-heavy hype. But this song kicks a ton of ass, to say the least. |

| Marilyn Manson – Cryptorchid Lyrics

This album is the last part of the Holy Wood triptych, in which Adam or Omega is portrayed by the Worm. This is the song when he becomes the worm, as you can see by the pricking of the finger ritual. This is later repeated in Kinderfeld, making it happen 7 times, which is when the transformation to the Disintegrator, or the AntiChrist Superstar is complete.
When it says it's never considered rape, it means that culture accepts it. Has anyone seen the Corn Harvest episode of South Park? You'll know what I mean. The thing about teaching 7 also reflects this, saying that our children are fed celebrities from a very young age, and strive for the 'perfection' they are basically worshiped for.
Also, Zorvi, Marilyn Manson is a satanist. Not a Pseudo-Satanist, as Anton Levay liked to call them, though. He is a Levayrian Satanist, which isn't devil-worship, but it's a theory in which people are their own gods. Look it up, or check into the song The Reflecting God |
