The Killers – The World We Live In Lyrics 17 years ago
Personally, I love this song! It reminds me a lot of a song Paul McCartney would write.

Also, who cares if albums don't sound the same? Bands have the right to change their sound or go where they feel is creatively right for their band. I don't know about you, but if artists released the same sort of album three or four times I would definitely get bored and stop listening. I have been listening to The Killers from the beginning (and I'm not talking about just listening to singles on the radio). I really admire a band that can take a different direction and still produce an incredible album.

Spoken – David Lyrics 17 years ago
In my opinioin, Spoken has got to be one of the best Christian bands - music & lyrics. David is one of those songs that take me back and remind me of how we need to be humble but have joy in praising Jesus.

Aaron Sprinkle – Sweeter Than Me Lyrics 17 years ago
I agree. I don't know how this has no comments. This is one of my favorite songs ever. I agree with stricken. I think it is about a couple, and one of them is having a hard time and the other comforts them.

Every relationship goes through its ups and downs, and I think this is about one of the downs. In response, the singer comforts the other one and encourages them to go back to the beginning by remembering all the stories with the jewelry.

Weezer – The Greatest Man That Ever Lived (Variations on a Shaker Hymn) Lyrics 17 years ago
I completely agree with fsm. We all just need to stop comparing Weezer albums to each other (and I agree, except for Green. I have no idea what happened on that one). What is the point of producing six identical albums?

This sound is ingenious, or as Joey says..leet and epic. Put aside all of your preconceived notions about Weezer and listen to the album with a fresh look. I nearly guarantee you will see the, for lack of a better word, greatness of it.

Coldplay – The Scientist Lyrics 17 years ago
I feel contrary to Edalwayz.

This song always reminds me of living a Christian life. We fall down, we mess up, but Got id always there to pick us back up. The proof of God is in the mountains, in the ocean, in nature all around us! It is in the beautiful music that we listen to! How can we think that all of this has been created out of chance? You say that Science and progress speak louder - God created science! and progress! I love the C.S. Lewis quote that says "Atheism turns out to be too simple. If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning..."

I think this was written as a love/asking for forgiveness song. But to me it speaks a deeper meaning. I love the "come back and haunt me" line.

Weezer – The Greatest Man That Ever Lived (Variations on a Shaker Hymn) Lyrics 17 years ago
How can we expect the same songs as Pinkerton and Blue? Rivers was in such a different point in his life back then, so of couse the music is going to be different. I think the Red Album signifies how much Weezer has matured.

What is important is the emotion in their songs, which I think is definitely here in the Red Album. In my opinion, that is why Green wasn't as good. It had no emotion. It seemed flat. Red Album on the other hand is full of emotion, at least to me (for instance how he totally belts it at the end of Heart songs).
