i think something thats not being mentioned is that the compostion of the song influences personal meaning as much as lyrics. I prefer johnny cash's version becuase traditional acuostic instruments are used, giving the song a more raw and genuine feeling. I appreciate the lyrics reznor wrote and the meaning behind them tho, but his more electronic sound is less influential to most. |
