This song is so hard to figure out because it has too many meaning in one. I'm lazy so I'm just gonna say what I think about the most important parts of the song "Hit somersaults without the net"=acting without planning "Get back home, things are wrong. Well, not really, it was bad all along" you cant run away from your problems etc. etc. I think the reason people are so confused about it is because most songs have one main theme. |

why isnt anyone talking about the song meaning? we can argue over the biggest fan and the correct lyrics somewhere else this is song MEANING . COM. Anyway I think this song is about the narrator going out with a deppressed girl(would say emo but don't know who's reading this) who dumps him and now he's looking back on how she always gets rid of everything good in her life main reasons I think this:"such a basket case hide the cutlery" pretty basic stuff but whatever "There's someone down below blowing you a kiss They watch from their windows As all arms fall to their sides, And all eyes fix on the death of tomorrow." Basically her life is great and everyone loves her but she keeps trying to commit suicide "You had time to waste, but I'm not sorry. Such a basket case, hide the cutlery. I had time to kill, It's dead and buried. You've got guts to spill, but no one's trust-worthy." its over now and he's kinda pissed. she keeps all her feelings inside "These creatures are waking up in these dark trees. Awaiting like vultures. And eyes rolled back turned white in time to feed A salivating hunger...for you, and everything they need To make a death complete... completely unnatural. They salvaged the lives behind those dead eyes And watched you while you sleep every night and..." I can only guess he's talking about the grim reaper or some kind of life taking myth. It sets a pretty good picture of that. And they're basically waiting for her to die |

mayb its just because I'm going through this but I honestly see it as this: he's looking for a girlfriend but no one seems to fit what he wants cloud hangs over=depressed ships=women wounded satalite=lost face at back of eyes=can see her but really(since they've not yet met most likely) fire in attic is hope I think one last thing I think the songs name is just another way of saying anomoly which would mean he's looking for someone who different my two cents |
