This song is awesome. It sounds pleasant and cheerful and not at all wrong at first, but it gets creepier once you think about it. It's about a guy who is completely psychotic. He believes that he cannot possibly be insane, since he's got a hobby that keeps him sane. He tells this to himself constantly. His wife cannot complain because she is dead. He murdered her, likely by poisoning her with pesticides. He stuffed her in the shed, so that he'll never see her rotting corpse, hence, why a man must have a shed to keep him sane. Otherwise it'll be out there in plain sight, and it'd be more difficult for him to keep up his delusions of sanity. People are trying to get him to get some help, since they've seen that his behavior is extremely erratic, but he refuses to listen to a word they say. He possibly plans to kill them too. ("Someday they'll see . . .") Fantastically demented song. |
