The Classic Crime – Abracadavers Lyrics 17 years ago
Ah, I love this song. && I love the classic crime. I personally know them, and they are very supportive of everyone, and actually care about their fans. I'm so excited for the new album. [:

But back to the song meaning, I personally think it's about how people are so concerned about their own physical appearance that they neglect to take care of their health.

"I'm plastic and set upon display," self explanatory. Plastic surgery, looking good and "set on display." Others are "looking my way" as in people are looking up to them as beautiful, and wanting to be like them.

Then he further goes to explain how everyone is the same and beautiful. "It seems we're beautifully made and designed." "made of hair and bones and water and blood cells."

But even though we are all the same, we are too blind to see past physical appearances, but now that he is "blind," metaphorically or actually physically handicapped, he can only find the good in people, and is unable to judge them by their physical appearance.

So, that's my take on the song. [:
