I get a distinct feeling that the song is about two misfits. He took his own life because the world couldn't let him be him. She decided to stay instead of going with him because even though the world thinks she "lacks" she still can't turn her back on the world. | |

I love this song. It's quite bitter, in a way. An angry break-up song. I can partly relate to it. The meaning is pretty obvious I think. |
