Yeah this song is hard... its like sort of like a guy having this extreme lust for this girl who he sort of had before, but i think she got over him and he still wants her. for some reason this part... I bear these tracks from our romance. A small keepsake of your performance. makes me think that they ended badly last time, like she clawed his down his cheast and left some marks or something, sounds retated i no i think he just wants her, badly and she doesnt want him but he wants her to just pretend, it sort of gives of the feeling that he is threatening her too.. |

My God. I just watched the video and im nearly crying. I always though that like they were playing Russian Roulette and like he kills her, but really its so much more SADDER!!! thank u Longliverock745 for ur comment, i went and watched the video clip and cos im studing Romeo and Juliet this year i sorta understood it... i think he was like some guy she met, and they feel in love, but something went wrong. the photo on the wall shows that she is an only daughter. i think her parents dont want her to love him, like in the story but its reverse roles. She drinks the poison and kills herself. he runs to her in hast - wait screw that theory. i still think she was upset, maybe about her parents not liking him (i think there is some symbolism in that photo, and the Capulet Cafe) But she kills herself first. then he thinks its his fault so he kills himself (the whole Russian Roulette thing) Sitting in this room playing Russian Roulette (i think this his him trying to kill himself, or at least putting a gun to his head) Finger on the trigger to my dear Juliet (he blames himself for killing her, he is doing this for her) Out from the window see your backdrop silhouette (he just keeps thinking about it, constently always seeing it play back in his mind) There's blood on my hands and it's something I cannot forget (he just cant forget it, he killed her la la la) BEST SONG EVER!!! |

I agree with Surfnut, what the hell people?!!? if any song needs more comments its this one!! This song is a little creepy, well a lot creepy if u listen to it because as Surfnut said its from the abusive fathers point of view - "She'll ignore our every sound" -"I will sing you to sleep from every thrust" But the story behind this is quite sad, i recall watching the speical dvd of these guys and the lead singer talking about how this song came to be and the words about how his girlfriends friend (i think) was raped and abused as a child from her father and that her mother didnt believe her. I think it also said he was just so discusted by it that he ending up writing this song as a form of release type thing. |
