This is indeed a great song, you can sense the emotion flowing through the song. TO no.hxc.dancing: I believe the vocals sound similar to Penelope by saosin, however I dont believe the underlying message is the same. I could be wrong however, just my opinion ;-) |

Yeah, I agree with lakajj, this song does seem to mean/be about someone trying to become their own person and such however when it gets tough (resisting outside pressure) this person is tempted by "the Night'
The night to me seems to either be a place of comfort, (literally a dark place away from other people) or it could be the person actually letting the pressure of being like everyone else take over however dark it is..
