Bob Marley and the Wailers – High Tide Or Low Tide Lyrics 15 years ago
I'm pretty sure this was recorded by Bob Marley and released as one of two bonus tracks on the CD edition of Catch a Fire..

She has so much better voice than Nina Persson, still agree about this being a great song though.

Hehehe, you do realise that this song is from Catch A Fire, right? Take a listen to Stir It Up from the same album, still think there was a need to make a song about rising above promiscuity?

Tom Waits – Jesus Gonna Be Here Lyrics 17 years ago
Listening to this song makes me think that I ought to like whiskey and smoke more than I do. Because, honestly, there is a difference between being able to hit the right notes and singing.
His voice on this make shivers go up my spine, in a very good way.

Dead Prez – Animal In Man Lyrics 17 years ago
I wouldn't say that the book is anti-communist, but more a cynical observation of how things went terribly wrong in Soviet.
In this song they have added the animals rising up against the pigs after they take control. With the last four lines of verse two and the narrator saying "Remember" in the end I believe that they wish to point out the problems that would come with a revolution and their stance on what to do if this would happen (again)

Blonde Redhead – Equus Lyrics 17 years ago
In the booklet it only says "Allow me to show you the way which I adore you"

Personally I think that this is about Kazu's (singer) recovery. The first song of the album symbolises her accident and this one finalises the recovery as she dares to go back to riding again.
