nice lyrics. basically about a relationship that has fallen apart. something happened and things can't go back to the way they were before. but the person singing the song says that even though they're not together anymore, she's "still the only one". |

this song is really sad and sweet. i remember listening to this song over and over again and never getting sick of it. i think its about how sometimes a person is not quite himself (well duh) and how he is unsure of how the girl will react if he says certain things to here.. so he just puts it in a 'hypothetical' way.. like 'suppose i say, you're my saving grace. i super love how he sings that line btw. |

i love love love this song. brandon boyd puts words together perfectly. i wish i could write like him. i think this song is about someone's search for someone 'infinitely interesting' meaning someone he could spend forever with. but when he thinks that 'infinitely interesting' person he's looking for is already there, he steps back and is kinda afraid. 'my biggest fear will be the rescue of me, strange how it turns out that way'. ironic that when you've finally found that one thing you've been looking for, you sort of falter and you become unsure. |
