I think this is about how no one man can be looked up to and trusted. We are all liars and we all let each other down. Even if we don't mean to, it happens. I think that as the song goes he is talking to himself as he says "How could you do this to all your believers? How could you do this to all your friends? You know this is the end." He realizes that he's got to end whatever it is that's weighing him down in life, whether is be drugs, alcohol, or anything, he knows that he's got to change. This is the end. |

| So if you have purchased this new cd, and read the inside you can read that 4 of the 5 thank God or Jesus Christ first thing in their thankyou's. The only one that didn't was Allan (bass player). You can read wiki-crap all day, but you never know if that's true or not. These guys are definately Christians and the message in most of their songs is very powerful. But all of us interpret things differently. | |

I think this song is referring to the Christians or "so called Christians" that think they know all there is to know about God and feel that they have the right to look down and sit in judement on people that are struggling in their faith or in their walk with God. The clincher to my statements is when he sings... "Its people like you that turn kids away from God (its people like you)"... ...This directly addresses those people who are condemning and sitting in judgment of those who may be struggling or searching to find God. When Christians sit in judgment, it makes those that they are condemning want to turn away from that person and the God that they are serving because they have been discouraged and looked down on... This song can also be interpreted as a call to encourage and never discourage. |
