| Casiotone for the Painfully Alone – Bobby Malone Moves Home Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Dispite its mild melancholy tone I find this song and the album as a whole quite uplifting - it seems to be a celebration of naive youth and that search for adulthood | |

| I always found the beauty of Casiotone was frank honesty that comes from the songs - I dont think there are any deep metaphores etc - its just a brilliantly captured moment of human life - poetic and amazing but perfectly simple. | |

For me this song is not about dying at all - quite the opposite. I feel it speaks about having the courage to move fowards with your life even if that means leaving behind things that you love. Realising that people or other things in your life are holding you back from your potential is a hard thing to do and this is the story of a man who is prepaired to follow his own heart dispite it not appearing to be the easiest option. I can see where some of you got the idea about death from but I think some of the lyrics don't seem to follow with that view: The second verse is quite clear that this is someone who now knows what he wants and needs - this is a voyage of personal discovery and breaking free. |

This is one of my favorite songs of all time. It makes me think of a close friend who died, I think it kind of has that "sad and happy" juxtaposition. It's sad in the sense that the person has gone but there is an undertone of happiness about the great times with that person. Oh, and it is def "down payments" |
