i remember dave(vocals) talking about this song. he was saying something like this guy backstage somwhere said "you're making it all come alive" and this other person heard it and even though it wasn't directed to him, it made him feel better. something like that. |

actually, i really do know the meaning of it. he was explaning how he dated a girl and i guess they never officially broke it off but they did break up. and then later he found out that she was married so he knew for sure that it was over, hahah. |
