Dethklok – Birthday Dethday (Dethalbum Version) Lyrics 16 years ago
Wow, you don't really understand? It was originally towards Murderface who IS more than a couple years old. You also have to realize that it's not coming from that perspective but towards someone who watches the show.

Streetlight Manifesto – Would You Be Impressed? Lyrics 17 years ago
I agree with majorpayne as people are associating it too closely with religion. Yes, there is an aspect of religion in it, but that doesn't mean it's anti-god. I think it's about all the excuses people make for the mistakes they made.

"Do you mean it when you beg and pray and plead?
You're "Giveittomegiveittomegiveittomegiveittome, all those things we need"
And what, pray tell, will you whimper when your number will be called?
You'll say "It's not my fault""

When someone screws up or wants something, they turn to God. Do you really mean it when you pray for something or when you screw up? Not really because you want the problem solved. Most people wouldn't normally pray if everything's well in their life; only when problems occur do people become religious. They go about blaming something or someone when the finger should be pointed at themselves.

Flobots – Handlebars Lyrics 17 years ago
"The song "is about the idea that we have so much incredible potential as human beings to be destructive or to be creative," Flobots' MC Jonny 5 (a.k.a. Jamie Laurie) told MTV. "And it's tragic to me that the appetite for military innovation is endless, but when it comes to taking on a project like ending world hunger, it's seen as outlandish. It's not treated with the same seriousness."

"...at the same time, I knew there were people at that moment who were being bombed by our own country. And I thought that was incredibly powerful." It is the contrast between these "little moments of creativity, these bursts of innovation," and the way these ideas are put to use "to oppress and destroy people" that the singer feels is both "beautiful and tragic at the same time.""

Take the Crown – Love At Its Worst Lyrics 17 years ago
Some parts are of the lyrics are missing it seems. For the meaning, I think it's about a girl cheating on her boyfriend. To make matters worse, they had a kid together.

"Should've thought twice about double crossing us."
Kinda obvious.

"Come on son, don't worry. This is the last we'll see of this place."
They're leaving because she cheated on them.
