my interpretation of this song fits well with kegleax912's. the accident could refer to a sexual incident between a guy and girl. he wants to develop a real relationship from there but, in my opinion, that would be next to impossible. it reminds me of the line "make out kids never have the chance to be best friends." their "relationship" is doomed to fail from the very beginning, and maybe she never even had real feelings for him at all. but anyway, if they had only taken it slow, the potential for a good, true relationship could have been there. but, "with accidents, you'll never know what could have been." |
