basically they do say "please stay wendy" around 1:49. For those who know about music. Its in the background where the chord goes with the main lyrics "that's about the time that she broke up with me" and they're going half time saying "please stay wendy" in the background. The notes on a piano, oboe, or flute would be B, F, D, and E. I'm not sure on a guitar but there should be websites for it. The last time they say it right before the grand finale they only halftime the "please stay" and hold "wen" for 4 counts and "dy" for 4 and the note for that one is C. after that then the instrumental comes in until the last "what's my age again?" |

I can relate most with the line "For that detail that is left unsaid is a reminder of the time you bled." Basically at that time this song was the only thing taht i could grab on to to stay above the water from drwoning. I love this song for many a reason but for its telling me to stay alive |

Haha, this song can be interpreted to be about someone a person loves. BUUUT, I've done my research, and apparently Adam Gontier, wrote this song, "Pain" and "animal I have become" while he was in rehab for an addiction. so basically he keeps wnating the drug, "i've tried everything to get away" he's tried alot of times to stop, "chasing you down again" looking for different ways of getting his high "I try to live without you everytime i do i feel dead" basically that he feels terrible because he doesnt have his high anymore. " i keep on wasting all my time" addictions usually shroten your lifespan and healthiness. and if you're doing everything you can to get ur hands on teh drug even though youre trying to stop its a waste of time. TA DAAHH TDG RULES!!!!!!!!!! |

So far on my top 10 favorite songs ever. i'd say 4 or 5 because my first is Stare at the sun by Thrice, Animal I have become by Three Days Grace, Diary of Jane by Breaking Benjamin, and then right in there with Liar Liar by The Used. This song to me seems like he's going crazy because he's sick of life. He doesn't care anymore hence "so give me seven more" and the blood donations. "cus i dont need your attention" |

It also makes me think of snow, and flying through it, or just walking through a nice snowy part of town........as far as I can imagine, cus we dont get deep snow....T_T but still, i LOVE THIS SONG |

I think this song can eitehr be about a relationship gone bad, or a suicidal freind. I think its easy for teens to relate to it cus we go through things that make us want to just quit. its like Adam gontier is reaching out to the public and telling them that suicide is not the answer.Its never too late to see the good in life, and get help or company to help. |

I truly dont care if you hate whatever bands you hate, but I pity you for missing out on good music like TH. And I dont care if you hate them, but please, leave room for good comments, and keep your personal bad opinions of them to yourself. You have your reasons, we have ours, and dissing them, or us for liking them isnt' gonna make them or us go away, so you're wasting time and life on doing that. Anyway, I like this song cus its like, no authority, run, if you feel angry scream, scream just to feel better. and quite frankly I would if I could, but it'd make people suspicious of myself. which i'd rather skip on. |

To me, I guess I see it like part of a story. Staring at the sun would be like staring at a god, according to "the melting point of wax" and "Daedalus" later in their album history, Icarus got to close to the sun god, so he melted his wings, and he fell down to the ocean and drowned. Saints and scholars, the religous and scientific reasons for life. "I know that...Scar that's never graced my wrist a mirror that hasn't met my fist" to me is like he's tried eveyrthing, and yet he needs to try for example being more religous "shrine or stone i havent kissed" more studious "a point i've missed" more emotional "scar that's never graced my wrist" or more powerful/tolerant "mirror that hasn't met my fist" Its definately a great piece of work. and i live because of its message. |
