I'm gonna try to ride a love song Surely it's "I'm gonna try to WRITE a love song" I could be wrong, but that just amkes somuch more sense... how can yu ride a song anyway? I'm halfway through the album... which is just an extender version of their EP which is a bit gutting, and of the 3 songs that wern't on the EP thatI've listened to as of yet, this is the only one that compares to the EP songs. I'm talking 5YT, Jocasta, etc. DWYD and Second Lover don't quite meet the standard set by these tracks. This song's lovely but |

musicology, firstly, TPC are Canadian, not Brittish. Also, being from the UK, we are not "a people who for the most part hate America" The UK generally is against President Bush, mainly because of the War in Iraq which has claimed the lives of so many Brittish soldiers, but for the majority of the population, there is no issue with America itself. Really the only country in the UK which harbours any hatred for another country, it would be England with their hatred of the Frenchand the Germans. The Scottish and the Welsh don't tend to have any strong feelings regarding other countries' people. But on the topic of the song, I don't know what it is actually about, but I don't think it's about anything mentioned here. Could be wrong though. |

Is this version taken from the album? On my version (which is from the album) I don't have the verse "I'm getting ready... I don't wanna fall" And instead of the two verses "Now we all ready... I ain't taking your call" I have one verse, which as the last two lines of each of these verses. I also have another two (i think) verses after that which arn't written here. Just wondering as orange juice said if there were two versions of the album, or if this version was a demo or something. |

I know the meaning is pretty obvious, so there's no need to come on and say "it's about accepting the fact that your not part of the hip generation anymone but saying fuck it and refusing to be seen as past it" But still, people should just be on here to say "wow, what a song" |
